Tropefryd is Mikkel's own water park with three heated pools, spash area and water slides. Here you can swim and play in the water in all kinds of weather!

In the park, the whole family can challenge themselves with minigolf, football, chess and many more family activities around the park. By Mikkel's Farm and the Fruit terrace, you can play 4 in a row, memory games and other games with fruit and animal theme.

Sit outside on our terrace, close to Tropefryd. In Solkro you can choose from hamburger, fish cakes, baked potato, salads or sausage and fries. You can enjoy your meal on our terrace, or bring your food to one of our other seating areas around the park.
Need to charge your batteries? Or starting to get hungry and in need for some fuel? In Skoskogen kafé you can find small treats like cinnemon buns and sandwiches, or a bigger meal for the whole family - our favourite is the pizza. Feel free to enjoy a cup of coffee with something sweet while the kids are playing.
Once upon a time there were found several shoes in the wood in Kinsarvik. The funny thing was, there was only one of each shoe. To many local's frustration, there had been a very friendly fox that for many years stole shoes from both tourists and locals in Kinsarvik. Nobody knew where these shoes ended up. When it turned out that these shoes were hidden away in the woods inside the family park, the story of Mikkel and his friends came to life.
Mikkel is the charming shoe-stealing fox. Mikkel is smart, and he sees things that others don't see. And most of all, he can smell shoes that has a story to tell...
Besides shoes, Mikkel loves apples. He eats at least an apple a day, and he is convinced that it makes him smarter. He is very proud of Mikkelparken, and the fact that it is a family park. This is the home for him and all his friends.
Mikkeline is a real cool girl that loves everyone. She especially loves animals and the nature. In the forest, she has her own dancing tree, that she dances around every morning and evening. Mikkeline loves to dance.
If anyone needs comforting or help to feel stronger, they always go to Mikkeline. She collects pacifiers, and nobody knows what she does with them. "Wait and see", she always answers to those asking.
Minken came to Mikkelpaken after escaping a fish farm in north-west norway.
He has his nest in the waterfront by the paddle boats. He protects his nest very well. Minken is a bit jelous and doesn't always think it's easy being with his friends.
Solbjørn is a sensitive and happy pessimist. He is a very friendly bear, but has a tendency to worry too much.
When he gets scared, he hides. The sun makes Solbjørn feel safe. When there is no sun, it helps when the children around him are happy as a sun! His goal is to make someone happy every single day!
DJ Papegøy has the most vivid imagination of all the friends in Mikkelparken. He makes up and tell stories and tales, so much that he sometimes believes it himself! He is a real teaser. Imitating the others is the most funny thing. He is a bit of a narcissist, and likes to be in charge. He talks a lot, and a lot about himself.
DJ Papegøy loves everything that involves music, and he works as a DJ - DJ Papegøy. When he's not in Mikkelparken, he travels the world to find gemstones and fossiles for the attractions in the park.
Frøken Ugle is the one who watches over the park at night. It's a job she takes very seriously. It's just one problem - she has become scared of the dark! In order to comfort herself, she has a secret that makes her less frightened.
Under one of her wings, she has a butterfly. When they fly together, everyting goes well. Frøken ugle is originally a teacher, and she loves to teach others about everything she knows! But the other friends just wants to play. Then it might happen that Frøken ugle gets a bit strict.
